Carr Canyon Falls

|
Carr Canyon is in the Huachuca Mountains in Southeast Arizona. The sheer drop of this waterfall is over 800' and the rocks above are slippery and treacherous, even in the dry season. Unfortunately, some have paid the ultimate price when they ignored the warning sign (lower left).

| Ash Canyon is further south in the Huachuca Mountains and closer to the U.S. border with Mexico. | Ash Canyon

Luna Lake Arizona

This
Lake is close to the Arizona/New Mexico border in tall pine country. |
| Arizona gets torrential rain during the monsoon season (July & August). This photo was taken one evening on my way home from work.

New Mexico Sunset

|
One of our favorite sunsets, this was taken on our return home from a trip to Hachita in search of Turquoise. Windmills are used on ranches as a means to pump well-water to the cattle ponds. |
