Welcome to our Southwest Art Gallery

    Featuring original art by
    Gary Brinker -- 12/3/44-1/6/99.

    9" x 12" Wall Painting

    Free standing Pueblo scene.

Gary was born and grew-up in Lisbon, Ohio. He graduated from Butler Art Institute in Youngstown, Ohio before he entered military service in the USN in 1963.
After his separation from USN in 1967 he spent his time working, raising a family, and pursuing his hobbies which included his passion for painting.

When he moved his family west to Arizona in 1979, he became fascinated with the artistry of the native american culture and his craft assumed a distinct southwestern accent. He painted a variety of Kachinas and totems and later developed hand-painted jewelry, collectible pueblo scenes and wall-hangings. His work was much in demand amongst family and friends and his art is an integral part of the decor of many of their homes.

Our RockRoost logo, on each of our website pages, incorporates one of his interpretations of the Eagle Dancer Kachina

He had not yet reached his full potential at his death but he left his family with a lasting and priceless legacy that we share with you on this site.
